What it is, who it is for and the project’s current limitations.
Is Nodavik available?
No. The project is in private alpha and is still being developed and verified in the Nodavik environment. There is no public installer yet.
Is it a WordPress-only panel?
No. WordPress receives particular attention because it is a demanding real-world workload. Nodavik is also designed for static sites, PHP applications, databases and other web projects.
Is it intended to replace cPanel?
The long-term goal is to offer a credible alternative for Linux web hosting. Today Nodavik is not yet a direct replacement and does not promise full compatibility with every cPanel feature.
Which operating system does it support?
Current development and testing use Debian 13. Other distributions are not officially supported yet.
Will it manage email?
Not in the first version. Nodavik initially focuses on sites, PHP, databases, backups, certificates, scheduled tasks and resources. Email can remain with a dedicated service.
How does it protect accounts?
Each site and service uses separate identities and permissions. Administrative operations are separated from the web panel and can only execute known, controlled actions.
Will cPanel migration be available?
It is planned for later, after the core features are complete and mature. Migration will need to be guided, verifiable and recoverable.
Will Nodavik be open source?
The distribution model has not been announced. At this stage the priority is to build and verify the product.
