Nodavik grows from the daily experience of managing real servers and websites, with the aim of creating a clearer, smarter panel built around isolation.
The problem is not a lack of features
Existing hosting panels can do a lot. As they grow, however, they can become difficult to read, expensive to maintain or unhelpful when one website starts causing trouble.
Nodavik does not want to add another icon for every possible feature. It wants to organise daily work well and make important decisions understandable.
Who it is for
The first version is aimed at technicians, freelancers, web agencies and small hosting providers managing multiple sites on a VPS or dedicated server. It should feel familiar without forcing people to live in the command line or hiding what happens on the server.
WordPress matters, but it is not everything
WordPress is one of the most common and demanding web workloads. That makes it an excellent proving ground for backups, updates, isolated copies and restore. The same foundations also serve static sites, PHP applications and other web software.
Web hosting first
The first phase focuses on sites, accounts, PHP, databases, certificates, backups, scheduled tasks and resources. Email is not part of the initial product and can remain with a dedicated service while Nodavik focuses on web hosting.
Simplicity does not mean less security
The interface should be easy to use, but administrative operations cannot depend on a button alone. Nodavik separates the web panel from privileged actions, checks state and records what changes.
